"Canadian weird-hop crew New Slang team up with Dutch producer Coco Bryce for their first, aptly titled collabo album, “Canadian Dutch”. It took over 6 months to complete the trans Atlantic project, with a fresh batch of beats being sent from the Netherlands to the Hamilton homebase of the New Slang crew every couple of weeks throughout the first half of 2012. But after half a year of hard work and semi-controlled outbursts of creative energy, the Slang’s most exquisite lyrics combined with Coco’s weirdest instrumental concoctions to date have finally managed to synergize into 12 tracks of off-kilter Hip Hop Extraordinaire."
